Kato started school properly today. Humans were very nervous. Kato managed to get herself covered in duck weed two minutes before departure, needing a hasty wash. Taking her last term to socialise has certainly paid off, she wasn't frightened or overwhelmed, no fear aggression. Unlike last terms class the class are mainly youngsters around 6-12 months old so less of the disruptive, unruly older dogs whose owners are there in desperation. The owners are more relaxed so there was more opportunity for Kato to really mix and make friends, (and meet boys!)
Kato did quite well in the practical. A bit distracted during the first running "heel" wanting to stop & wave at hatty human who was sat watching proudly from the side. Course, she was the prettiest in the class - but that goes without saying.....
On return, she really needed to let off steam and have a good few rounds of Slippy Dog with Abe.
Relaxing after school.
And finally congratulations to hatchet on his new arrival, Blade.
